Shipping Policy
Plants are packed meticulously with utmost care and stability here are Rare Leaf Addict. They are shipped Mondays and Tuesdays, unless otherwise arranged, preferably using overnight or 2-day shipping. If shipped with one of these options, live arrival is guaranteed. Buyer will need to provide pictures and video of unboxing within 2 hours of arrival for the live-arrival guarantee. Depending upon availability the plant/plants will be replaced or refunded. Photos of packing and tracking number will be sent to the email provided at time of shipping.
We are not responsible for shipping delays, mishandling, lost packages, etc., although we understand how upsetting this can be for purchasers.
Please note that plants can sustain some shipping stress and may show this with signs such as yellowing or drooping of leaves. We cannot be held responsible for minor damages due to shipping despite very careful packaging. Plants should be brought inside immediately upon arrival and not left out in heat or cold. Heat packs and insulation are available for purchase at checkout, and buyer is responsible for choosing these options if needed.
Shipping cost is flat fee determined at purchase depending upon option chosen and on number of plants purchased. It is very highly recommended to choose overnight or 2-day shipping.
Sales Tax
Rare Leaf Addict charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.

Refund Policy
We have a no cancellation policy. All sales are final with no returns or exchanges. Once purchased the plant is yours, so please make the decision carefully. We are aware that unexpected circumstances do arise and apologize that we are unable to refund any purchases currently as processing and other fees are unrecoverable.
The plant you see in the picture is the plant you will be receiving minus any shipping-stress damage. If an error has occurred, please notify us immediately.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and will do everything in our power to ensure that this is the case.
Note: You are responsible for knowing how to care for the plant that you purchase as different plants require some specific conditions for healthy growing and survival.
Most of the variegated Alocasia babies need humidity between 70-80%. Some smaller pups should stay in their humidity cups with domes until they grow a bit stronger. Some Hoyas and Monsteras also thrive with added humidity and grow lights. A few tips will be sent with your plant to assist you in helping your new plant to thrive. Our more fragile and variegated plants are grown in tents or cabinets with added humidity and grow lights. They may take time to acclimate to a new environment.
